Financial Aid
Campus-based Financial Aid Programs
Financial aid is available to graduate students admitted as degree
candidates, who are making satisfactory academic progress, fulfilling
the eligibility requirements of the program for which they apply,
and registering for 6 or more credits a semester. The university
receives a limited amount of money each year from the Federal Perkins
Student Loan and Federal Work Study program to assist students.
The programs are need-based. To receive consideration, a student
must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or
a renewal application. All application materials must be received
in the Financial Aid Office by March 1 for the following academic
year for first consideration. Students may apply as early as January
1. (This form should be mailed by January 30 to allow sufficient
time for processing). More detailed information on financial aid
programs and eligibility requirements is available upon request
from the Financial
Aid Office.
