| Greetings and welcome to Towson University's College of
Graduate Studies and Research. I am Audrey Dineiro, president
of the Graduate Student Association. I act as a liaison between
you, the graduate student, and Towson's administration to
voice and attend to your concerns. If you are a registered
graduate student, you automatically become members of the
GSA.
In addition to maintaining this website, the GSA produces
a newsletter that is distributed to all Towson graduate students
once a semester. This publication serves to keep graduate
students informed of opportunities available around campus,
such as award programs, scholarly activities and career opportunities.
One award program is always available to graduate students,
the GSA Awards. These awards fund student research and travel.
For more information, please visit the GSA Awards web page.
The GSA also sponsors meetings where students can air their
concerns in a safe and receptive environment. For meeting
and event times, please visit the Events & Meetings web page.
All graduate students are invited to attend.
In addition to formal meetings, the GSA sponsors social
events that to allow Towson's graduate students to meet, creating
a feeling of community and camaraderie across disciplines.
Look for GSA announcements in your Towson e-mail account regarding
when and where these events will take place or visit the Events
& Meetings web page. I look forward to meeting you this coming
semester and wish you all success in the future.
