• Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine named Towson University one of the top 100 best values in public colleges for the 2008-2009 academic year.

• Forbes ranked Towson University 89th in its 2009 list of the top 100 public colleges and universities in the U.S.

The University also enjoyed another record-breaking year for research and funding, including $26 million in grants and contracts for projects, most of which provide financial help and research experience for our graduate students.
