Colonial Academic Alliance Undergraduate Research Conference

April 4-5, 2009

Towson University is proud to host the 7th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference of the Colonial Academic Alliance (CAA). The conference will take place April 4-5, 2009, on the campus of Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland.

The CAA URC (formerly the CAA C STARS: Colonial Student Annual Research Symposium) was hosted for the first time by George Mason University in 2003, the University of Delaware in 2004, Hofstra University in 2005, James Madison University in 2006, the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2007, and Northeastern University in 2008.

Call for Papers and Posters

The 2009 conference will feature poster sessions and panels of oral presentations. Each member institution is invited to bring up to ten student participants, of which two may deliver oral presentations. We recommend that one or two faculty members accompany the student participants to the CAA conference. Faculty advisors are encouraged to select student participants from a wide distribution of research fields. Additionally, the poster sessions and the oral presentation sessions are open to the University community.
