Towson’s Clinician-Administrator Transition Certificate (CAT) will give you the skills you need to make a smooth and
successful transition from a clinical to an administrative role. The CAT program emphasizes leadership and health care
management.

Through focused course work and interaction with faculty and students, you will gain the knowledge and skills
essential to applying administrative theory to the health care setting. Depending on your interests and career goals,
you can draw on your professional experience to complete the capstone project for your current professional setting or for future
employment opportunities.
Convenient Course Work
Many of our courses are offered in a fully online format to suit the lives of working porfessionals with busy schedules. Others are taught in a hybrid format, meaning 50% or more of the class sessions occur online and the remainder take place in the classroom.

Managing Health Care Professionals (3)
Administration of Health Care Organizations (3)
Health Care Financial Management (3)
Planning and Marketing Health in Business and Industry (3)
Course work from the CAT program is transferable to other master’s programs at Towson, including nursing, health
science and occupational therapy.
