If you hold a master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university* in education, administration, human resource development or a related field, you can take your career to the next level with Towson's Certificate of Advanced Study (C.A.S.) in organizational change, an interdisciplinary program combining educational leadership, human resource management and work-force development. Those seeking an Administrator I stamp only must successfully complete the requirements for MSDE certification. With a C.A.S. from Towson, you can advance in your current career or prepare for doctoral work in a related field.

The C.A.S. in organizational change is approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) for Administrator I certification, a requirement for supervisors, assistant principals and principals.The full certificate equips students with Administrator I preparation and the professional status of holding a "master's plus 30" credits. Those seeking the full certificate must complete the requirements for MSDE certification plus four electives.
