At Towson University, students have access to a variety of superb academic resources set in a large metropolitan university. Our faculty include prominent scholars and educators, providing individualized guidance and support. Faculty research and publications cover broad areas of Judaic scholarship, including Jewish thought and mysticism, the archaeology of Ancient Israel, Second Temple Period history and literature, Rabbinic thought and literature, biblical and ancient Near Eastern Civilization, American Jewish History, European Jewish History, and informal and formal Jewish education.
Graduate students seeking internship and employment opportunities benefit from a vast network of prominent alumni and Jewish communal organizations, non-profit agencies, synagogues, community centers and day schools in the greater Baltimore community. Students become part of a diverse and supportive well-organized community, enriched by the agencies of the Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.
