This program has rolling admissions--in order to ensure timely processing we recommend submitting your application by August 1 for fall admission, December 1 for spring admission, and May 1 for summer admission. While we will continue to accept applications and materials after these dates, we cannot guarantee that your application will be reviewed in time for the start of classes.
An undergraduate degree in art education from a regionally accredited college or university* and/or certification as a public school art teacher (if a current teacher, you must submit a copy of your teaching certificate). Applicant must show evidence of approved undergraduate art education courses taken at the university level.
A minimum GPA of 3.00 for full admission or 2.75 for conditional admission. All GPA calculations for admission are based upon the last 60 units of undergraduate and postbaccalaureate study.
