Towson University’s art education department actively participates in both the state (MAEA) and national (NAEA) art education associations. Both faculty and members of the student chapter are regularly involved in conferences.
Towson University has an active student chapter of NAEA. Students activities include meetings, fundraisers, field trips and group trips to conferences. Kay Broadwater is faculty sponsor for the the student chapter, has recently presented to NAEA and is serving as Chair of Higher Education on the MAEA Council.
