- Evaluation of Internships: All MAT students receive evaluations of their internship performance from their university supervisor and mentors during the final EDUC 798 semester of their Professional Year. The MAT program uses the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) Principles as part of the evaluation process for students in all education programs. In addition, general education students are also evaluated by the standards established by the appropriate professional organizations. Below are the links to the evaluation standards for students pursuing initial certification as general educators:
The evaluation standards for MAT students who are pursuing their initial certification as special educators are based on the INTASC Principles and the standards identified by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
