Applied Gerontology (M.S.)

Degree Requirements

  • Completion of 36 units with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better
  • Satisfactory completion of core required courses:
    GERO 601Seminar in Professional Gerontological Issues (3)
    GERO 610Applied Gerontological Research Methods (3)
    GERO 620Legal Issues in Gerontological Practice (3)
    GERO 684Gerontological Practicum (3)
    or  
    GERO 685Independent Study in Gerontological Practice (3)
    HLTH 619 Organizing Systems of Care for Chronically Ill and Physically Dependent Populations (3)
    PSYC 610 Advanced Psychology of Aging (3)
  • Satisfactory completion of 18 units of graduate electives as approved by academic adviser.
