An Interdisciplinary Approach

Follow a program of study coordinated by the departments of Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice. Gain familiarity with research, theoretical advances, applications and methodological approaches related to current topics in the social sciences and the world. The graduate program is truly an interdisciplinary program, drawing on the resources and expertise of multiple academic areas.

Customize Your Program

Build your foundation in the social sciences with courses from the viewpoints and perspectives of the geographer, the economist and the historian, along with course work on East Asian security issues, American politics and developmental human learning. Then choose one track of specialization - either global analysis or general - and one discipline within that given track.

Flexible Formats

Convenient, evening courses make it easy to continue your graduate studies. Faculty members work closely with you to prepare a final portfolio of your work or a master’s thesis.
